I’m really pleased to announce that I’ll be the guest curator for Design Museum Boston‘s Extraordinary Playscapes exhibit, slated for June of 2014. It’s a show about the design of playscapes all around the world, highlighting the design process and thinking that goes into their creation and celebrating the incredible creativity that goes into enabling outdoor play.
DMB is a young, up-and-coming organization all about educating the public about design – and it does so by taking design to the public, staging exhibits in the Prudential Mall, Logan Airport, Boston City Hall, and along the walkways of Fort Point Channel
Extraordinary Playscapes will have a core museum exhibit, but I’m really excited about the satellite installations planned for all around the city. Your playful company or organization can help make it happen! Like all exhibitions, this one requires sponsorship and if you’d like to be a part (and reach, in the process about 1.5 million sets of eyeballs with your designs for play) get in touch.
